_________________________

Mr. Freeze is a flick-screen platformer where your task is to de-ice six compartments of a giant fridge by moving from the bottom-left of each compartment to the top-right to touch the de-icer. In each compartment are various platforms and you climb ladders or drop down through gaps but you can only fall a certain height. A compartment doesn't have to be de-iced to move to the next one but you can only move between them where an arrow points. There are various deadly obstacles that need avoiding and they are ice cubes, robots, other creatures and a laser at the top of the screen. When you climb a ladder, the laser moves across and fires at you and if you are hit by any obstacle or fall too far then you lose one of six lives. You are armed with a gun and although it can't destroy anything it can push items back.

Description from the packaging:

"Mr Freeze is faced with a real challenge. Armed with a flame thrower he has
to determine a route through the fridge and de-ice each of its six
compartments. This involves jumping over ice cubes and gaps between the
shelves, and avoiding flying food, lasers and guardian robots. You'll need
all your cunning, timing and skill to prevent Mr Freeze from being turned
into ice. B-R-R-R!!!

Mr Freeze's task is to de-ice each of the fridge's six compartments while
avoiding hazards such as flying food, ice cubes and guardian robots. It
doesn't matter which order the compartments are de-iced. Once a compartment
has been de-iced (the special button for this is at the top of each screen)
Mr Freeze should move down and on to another compartment.

Mr Freeze will lose one of his six lives and turn into ice whenever he is
hit by food, guardian robots, or walks into an ice cube. Beware of the lasers
guarding the stairs; their effect can be quite chilling!"
